Product Description
KG-1 was the first product introduced to the shooting sports industry to specifically meet the need to remove carbon buildup and is the first step in the cleaning process. KG-1 is formulated to be environmentally friendly and contains no ammonia. Recommended for use by several barrel makers. KG-1 is pH neutral and is ideal for removing carbon from black powder rifles, centerfire, rimfire, automatic and gas assisted weapons.

My experience with KG1

I have used every barrel cleaner on the market. Sweets, Butch's etc..
KG1 is the fastest and most efficient at cleaning out carbon ( the most precision destroying Component) and copper. 3 patches over about 20 minutes and it is clean. If you try it you will never use anything else. The only downside is the price, but a few drops go a long way. A four once bottle lasted about 3 months... yes I shoot a lot.
